We collect the following information directly from you when you use FateSync:
- Personal Information: first name, gender, relationship status, date of birth, time of birth(optional), place of birth, partner’s date of birth (optional), partner’s place of birth(optional).
- Sensitive Information: any information you voluntarily provide about your mental or emotional state, relationships, or personal experiences.
- Chat Data: messages exchanged with AI experts within the app. Chat data is stored in our encrypted database and sent to OpenAI API to generate responses.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the FateSync service.
- Process interactions with our AI experts through OpenAI API.
- Manage subscriptions and billing through Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe.
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
Important: Your chat messages are sent to OpenAI API for processing. FateSync does not use your data to train AI models.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as follows:
- OpenAI API: for generating AI responses.
- Payment processors: Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe for subscription management.
All other data sharing requires your explicit consent or is as required by law.

We retain your personal and chat data for up to 5 years in encrypted storage at US-based data centers. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
